Welcome to the weekly drop. Here's what's worth your time over the next seven days.
Shows worth seeing
The Bluebird Cafe has a stacked songwriter round Wednesday night, and there's a late-set acoustic show at the Ryman on Thursday that's worth the ticket if you can grab one. Lower Broadway honky-tonks are running their usual rotation; the cover bands at Tootsies and Robert's Western World are tighter than they have any right to be.
New openings
A new natural wine bar opened in East Nashville this week, and the lines suggest people are already paying attention. Over in the Gulch, a sister concept from one of our favorite chefs is doing a soft launch; Tuesday and Wednesday tables are easier to grab than weekends.
What we're watching
St. Paddy's prep is everywhere. Pop-ups are appearing in unlikely neighborhoods. The Predators are mid-playoff push and tickets at Bridgestone are moving fast. And our hot chicken roundup is getting more reads than anything else this week (apparently Nashville Hot Chicken Week is back).
Heads up
Construction on Demonbreun is going to make the cross-town slog worse than usual. Plan an extra ten minutes if you're heading west.
That's it for this week. Reply to the email if you have something we should cover.
