The work we are proudest of
A benefit night, an adoption floor, a rebuild, a campaign that needs the city to notice. This is the part of what we do that we never had to be paid for, and it is where the half a million dollars came from.
Most of this we already do for nothing
We cover the Wags & Walks adoption floor every Saturday morning. Every dog on that stream is available that day. There is no music bed and no countdown, because people will watch a dog sit in a room if the dog needs a home.
We ran the Gary LeVox veterans benefit end to end. The set, the writers' round that ran forty minutes long, the auction that did most of the damage. We stayed on air until the total was read out. It cleared a quarter of a million dollars on its own. We have been following the tornado rebuild for six years, long after everyone else stopped.
None of that was a package anybody bought. It is what the site is for. But if you have a date and a target and you need to plan rather than hope, there is a version you can book.
So: half rate on everything. Listings and newsletter mentions free, for everyone, always. Coverage we choose to do ourselves, free. And honest scheduling. If we cannot make your night we will tell you now rather than take a deposit and hope.
Half rate across the board for registered nonprofits. Free for a listing, a newsletter mention, or anything we decide to cover on our own account. If the money is not there, send it anyway.
Six weeks if you can manage it. A single named contact who will be reachable on the night. And permission to film the part that is actually moving, which is almost never the part that was planned.
If your night needs a corporate sponsor, we probably know who is buying this quarter. We will introduce you and we do not take a cut.
Every partner clears a check before we take a cent. The product or service, how the place is run, and what this city already says about you. It is quick, and it is why a co-sign from us is worth anything.
What we build for you
All four tiers →Featured listing
Your benefit pinned to the top of the events board with remind-me capture on it. We do not charge nonprofits for this.
Ask about this → Free FreeNewsletter mention
A written slot in the weekly email to ten thousand people who asked what is worth showing up for.
Ask about this → Free Half rateReel package
Vertical cuts from the night, edited and delivered to you, posted on ours. Yours for every appeal you run afterwards.
Ask about this → Half rate Half rateBenefit coverage
The night, live, start to finish, including the bit where the number gets read out. Scheduled replay, full footage handed over.
Ask about this → Half rate Half rateCampaign coverage page
One page following a campaign or a rebuild over months, instead of a post that scrolls away in a day.
Ask about this → Half rateThings we have actually done
The archive →The full night on our stream. The set, the writers' round, the live auction, and forty seconds from the back of the room when the total was read out that is still the best thing we shot last year.
The adoption floor, live, week after week. Twelve dogs, all available the same day. The follow up six weeks later is the clip everybody asks for, and we shoot that too.
We are still on it. A coverage page that accumulates is the right format for something that takes years, and almost nobody offers it to a cause that needs it.
Where you usually start
Compare the tiers →Benefit Night
Everything a fundraising night needs, at half rate, with the free parts genuinely free rather than discounted.
- Featured listing on the events board, no charge
- A written slot in the weekly newsletter, no charge
- Live coverage of the night, start to finish
- A scheduled replay kept in the archive
- Vertical cuts for your appeals afterwards
- Full footage handed over at original resolution
- An introduction to a corporate sponsor if you need one
If there is no budget at all, still send it. Listings and newsletter mentions cost nothing, for anybody. A real share of what we cover every year we picked ourselves and funded ourselves. We can only pick from what we know about.
If a corporate sponsor is covering it, say so and we will build around their credit rather than around what you can afford. That is usually how the bigger nights get made, and it costs nothing to ask us for the introduction.
Registered nonprofits get the discount without discussion. Mutual aid, a school, a neighbourhood group, a family: talk to us. We are not precious about paperwork when the thing is obviously worth doing.
The questions you were going to ask
- We genuinely have no budget
- Send it anyway. Listings and newsletter mentions cost nothing, for anybody. And a real share of what we cover in a year we picked ourselves and funded ourselves. We can only pick from what we know about.
- Will it feel like an ad?
- No. A benefit night is a benefit night, shot straight. Your sponsors get credits at the top and the tail and in the description, and the night in between is the night.
- Can our corporate sponsor be named?
- Yes, and it usually makes the whole thing affordable. We will help you structure the credit so it satisfies them without turning your fundraiser into somebody's campaign, and we will make the introduction if you do not have one.
- Do we have to be a 501(c)(3)?
- Registered nonprofits get the published discount automatically. Mutual aid funds, schools, neighbourhood campaigns and one off efforts, just talk to us.
- What if the total is disappointing?
- We stay on and we read it anyway. That is the deal, and it is why the good nights land. Nobody believes a number that was only ever going to be announced if it was good.
Ask us, even if there's no budget
Send the date and the cause. We will tell you what we can do, what it costs, and what we would do for nothing.
