Privacy Policy

NashvilleTN Live ("we," "us") runs nashvilletn.live. This policy covers the site, our newsletter and the forms on it. It doesn't cover other sites we link to, including nashvilletnconcierge.com, ticket sellers, booking sites or social platforms. Those have their own policies.

What we collect

What you give us. Your email when you join the newsletter or set an event reminder. Your name, email, phone number and message when you contact us, submit an event, ask about a partnership, book a service or apply for TN Trusted.
What your browser sends. Pages viewed, the site that sent you, device and browser type, and general location (city level). We collect this through Google Analytics.
What we store on your device. Google Analytics cookies, plus a few small browser storage items that remember things like whether you already joined the newsletter or set a reminder.

How we use it

To send the newsletter and the reminders you asked for.
To answer your messages and handle event, partner and booking requests.
To understand which pages people use so we can make the site better.
To keep the site secure and stop spam and abuse.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for targeted advertising.

Who helps us run the site

We use a few trusted services that handle data for us, only to provide their service:

Netlify hosts the site and stores form submissions.
Beehiiv sends the newsletter.
Resend sends replies and confirmation emails.
Google Analytics measures site traffic. See how Google uses this data, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
Instagram and YouTube provide the videos embedded on some pages. They may set their own cookies when you play a video.

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or as part of a sale or merger of the business.

Affiliate links

Some booking links earn us a commission at no cost to you. When you click one, the booking site may use cookies to know the visit came from us.

Your choices

Email. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link, or use our unsubscribe page.
Cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them.
Your data. Email sales@nashvilletn.live to ask what we have about you, or to correct or delete it. We'll respond within 30 days.

Depending on where you live, including California and other states with privacy laws, you may have more rights, like knowing what we collect and opting out of sale or sharing. We don't sell or share data that way, and we'll honor any request your state's law gives you.

How long we keep it

We keep newsletter emails until you unsubscribe, and messages and form submissions for as long as we need them to handle your request and run the business. Then we delete them.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS, and access to stored data is limited to the people who need it. No website is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Children

The site is for adults and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has sent us information, email us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
