12 South's all-day cafe on a front porch: coffee in the morning, wine by late afternoon.
#9 in Coffee#21 in Brunch + breakfast
What to get
- Golden Monkey latte (espresso, turmeric milk, honey, cinnamon)
- Huevos rolandos (black beans, avocado, corn tortillas)
- Vanilla-cinnamon French toast
When to go
Weekdays 3–6 pm for happy hour; Tuesday 4–8 pm is Family Night (kids get a free drink with a kids' entrée and happy hour runs long).
Insider tip
Guest parking behind the cafe via the alley between Sweetbrier and Beechwood Aves; there's a beer garden out back, and leashed dogs are welcome outside. For laptop work, Infatuation prefers the Nations location in a former hosiery factory.
