Rippy's Honky Tonk

Ribs, local beer on tap and quieter bands across from Bridgestone Arena: the calmer, food-first honky-tonk. A good pre-show stop with kids.

Broadway honky-tonks

Directions

What to get

  • Ribs (Infatuation: 'extremely decent')
  • Honky Tonk Tea (Nashville Guru)
  • A local draft - about a dozen taps brewed within half a mile (Infatuation)

When to go

Before a Bridgestone Arena show: it bills itself as the unofficial pre-party across the street.

Insider tip

The main floor feels like a restaurant and the acts are quieter, so nobody minds if you camp out for hours (Infatuation); Nashville Guru calls it one of the more family-friendly honky-tonks. Two levels, three stages.

Heads up

Quieter music - not the place for a rowdy party.
