Dr. Ruth Ross Edmonds came to Nashville for Vanderbilt, earned her dental degree with honors at Meharry Medical College and completed her orthodontic training at the University of Tennessee in Memphis before opening Braces by Dr. Ruth; BBB records list 2000 as the year the practice started.
