Crossroads Pets is the grooming, adoption and retail arm of Crossroads Campus, a Nashville 501(c)(3) nonprofit built around the healing power of the human-animal bond. Crossroads runs two professional grooming salons and a pet supply store, and creates paid job-training internships in pet careers for young adults who lack the connections to break into the workforce. It also provides income-based housing and support services and finds homes for unwanted dogs and cats. Its board includes Emmylou Harris as vice chair. Customers rate the Germantown location 4.6 on Google and 4.5 on Yelp; one recent reviewer praised the care given to a 17-year-old dog.
